According to Bakers Evangelical Dictionary "The boundless future may also be regarded as a series of ages." THAT IN THE COMING AGES, HE (JESUS) MIGHT SHOW THE INCOMPARABLE RICHES OF HIS GRACE EXPRESSED IN HIS KINDNESS TO US IN CHRIST JESUS. Ephesians 2;7
Jameieson-Fausset-Brown Bible commentary explains this great mystery this way; "TO ALL THE GENERATIONS OF ETERNAL AGES, literally, OF THE AGE OF THE AGES. Eternity is seen as consisting of ages. These ages consisting of generations endlessly succeeding one another."
