Abrahamic Covenant: King Messiah

King Messiah    

      God promised Abraham thousands of years ago: "I WILL CERTAINLY BLESS YOU.  I WILL MULTIPLY YOUR DESCENDANTS BEYOND NUMBER, LIKE THE STARS IN THE SKY AND THE SAND ON THE SEASHORE." (Gen. 22:17)  This  blessing will reach it's culmination during the Millennium.   At His Second Coming Jesus will save Jerusalem from the destroying armies of the Antichrist.  The people will see Him, Who was pierced and crucified  and rose again 2,000 years ago.  "THEN I WILL POUR OUT A SPIRIT OF GRACE AND PRAYER ON THE FAMILY OF DAVID AND ON THE PEOPLE OF JERUSALEM.  THEY WILL LOOK ON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED AND MOURN FOR HIM AS FOR AND ONLY SON. THEY WILL GRIEVE BITTERLY FOR HIM, AS FOR A FIRSTBORN SON WHO HAS DIED." (Zech. 12:10 NLT) They will finally accept their Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.  Jesus will rule and reign from Jerusalem.  Jerusalem is the city of the great king, Messiah.  The peoples of the world ..WILL GO UP TO JERUSALEM EACH YEAR TO WORSHIP THE KING, THE LORD OF HEAVEN'S ARMIES..(Zech. 14:16b)   Jesus' power and love will regenerate this war torn, decimated earth.  Rivers will flow in the deserts.  The wastes will become fruitful plains. The oceans of the whole earth will be purified from the waters that flow from His throne.(Ezekiel, Zechariah)  Under His 1,000 year rule He will regather all of Abraham's descendants to Himself in the land He gave to Abraham.  He will build a glorious new temple.  (Ezekiel)   Even the Euphrates River will  be made new.  Jesus will divide it into 7 streams so His people can walk back to Israel. (Is. 11:15)  AND ALL THE EARTH WILL BE COVERED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD, EVEN AS THE WATERS COVER THE OCEANS.  NOTHING WILL HARM OR HURT OTHERS ON HIS HOLY MOUNTAIN.  The government of Messiah, a mighty mountain which fills the whole earth will ultimately prevail.     Us Christians, believers in Messiah, will be resurrected at that time.  My desire is to walk under Messiah's love in the Millennium.  May I walk worthy of Him in this lifetime, may we all.  EVEN SO, COME LORD JESUS.  Jesus says:  BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY, AND MY REWARD  IS WITH ME...
