Paul Walked With God

He was the great apostle Jesus chose to bring Christs light, the gospel of glory,

 Paul wants us to walk with God just as he did.  We read about his life in the New Testament.  He had the most exciting, inspiring life of any believer.  He was hard core for Christ!  Jesus personally chose him to come to us gentiles who lived without God and without hope in this sad world.  When we read about Paul's life in the Bible we are inspired to live for Jesus even more.  That means walking with God. Paul instructs us:  FINALLY THEN BROTHERS  WE ASK AND URGE YOU IN THE LORD JESUS, THAT AS YOU RECEIVED FROM US HOW YOU OUGHT TO WALK  WITH GOD, JUST AS YOU ARE DOING,  THAT YOU DO SO MORE AND MORE.  (1 Thes. 4:1ESV)  

        Paul had a tough life.  Many people deserted him, but the Lord never did.   It made me feel sad reading about his first trial.  He says:  AT MY FIRST TRIAL NO ONE CAME TO MY DEFENSE.  EVERYONE ABANDONED ME.  MAY IT NOT BE HELD AGAINST THEM.  HOWEVER THE LORD STOOD BY ME AND GAVE ME STRENGTH SO THAT THROUGH ME THE MESSAGE MIGHT BE FULLY PROCLAIMED AND ALL THE GENTILES COULD HEAR IT... THE LORD WILL RESCUE ME FROM EVERY EVIL ATTACK AND WILL TAKE ME SAFELY TO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM.  GLORY BELONGS TO HIM FOREVER AND  EVER.  AMEN.  (2Tim. 4:16-18ISV)

      Jesus will never leave us, He loves us.     Jesus walks with us through the good times and the bad.

  20 years I've been walking with Jesus.  His wings of grace have carried me.  It's only His grace... the goodness of God that has gotten me through the years.  I know Jesus loves you and has good plans for His followers.  Let's walk worthy of Him always.  How I long to walk with Him in white in the new heavens and earth.  He longs for that too.
