Be Kind to the Poor, God Likes It

Whoever oppresses the poor defies their Creator, but whoever is kind to the needy honors them. Prov. 14:31 ISV

A religion that is pure and stainless according to God the Father is this: to take care of orphans and widows who are suffering, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:27 ISV  You must help needy orphans and widows and not let this world make you evil.  James 1:27b CEV

God loves the poor, (and everyone else too).  Widows and orphans are sometimes the poorest of the poor.  May you and I always show kindness, love, and generosity to the poor, hurting, sick and especially widows.  Help me to do more Father. That would make Jesus happy. In Jesus Name. Amen.
