Drought on Earth

A God forsaken land is a land in which the sins of the people have brought about drought.

 The most obvious example of this is the Sahara desert.  The region used to be a green, water rich paradise with supercrocs and other giant prehistoric animals according to paleontologists. (1)  Why is it a desert now? A wilderness? Dried up, desolate, dead?  What about the rest of the mideast area?  Pakistan, Afghanistan?  Even the State of California is in extreme drought now.  God told me He is closing down California.  Why, would God withold rain on a land?
The Holy Scriptures, the Sacred Writings of our Bibles make it very clear.  Hosea 4:1-3 reveals the truth.  Specific sins depopulate a region and the land mourns, and becomes desolate. God’s Controversy with Israel
1Listen to the word of the LORD, O sons of Israel,
            For the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of the land,
            Because there is no faithfulness or kindness
            Or knowledge of God in the land.
    2There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery.
            They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.
      3Therefore the land mourns,
            And everyone who lives in it languishes
            Along with the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky,
            And also the fish of the sea disappear.
The Bible makes it clear that it is God Who sends rain, and it is God who witholds rain.  The American Southwest used to sustain a fairly large Indian population, then it went into drought and the Indians depopulated.  California is going into draought and has been for a long time, almost 3 years.  It will probably  be depopulating soon.
The Prophet Amos told the people why the were in drought and famine.
6“But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities
            And lack of bread in all your places,
            Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD.
      7“Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you
            While there were still three months until harvest.
            Then I would send rain on one city
            And on another city I would not send rain;
            One part would be rained on,
            While the part not rained on would dry up.
      8“So two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink water,
            But would not be satisfied;
            Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD.
      9“I smote you with scorching wind and mildew;
            And the caterpillar was devouring
            Your many gardens and vineyards, fig trees and olive trees;
            Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD.
When the people of Israel under Joshua and Moses were ready to go into the land of Promise the Almighty Proveder warned them that if they would forsake Him and whoe after false gods of the land and build idols there would be a price to pay.  Unfathomable suffering.  That's what happened to them.  The Israelites chose cursings instead of blessings.  This is what He said: 23 The sky above your heads will be bronze and the earth beneath you iron. 24 The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; it will come down on you from the sky until you are destroyed. (from Deut. 28)
The dust bowl in Oklahoma during the depression is an example of drought and judgement.  And it's starting to happen now too in the western United States.

God Himself is closing down California.  He's making the sky hard like iron... drought, severe.  May God have mercy on America. Chuck Missler says we need to pray for repentance in our nation.

What are the long term, world wide implications of this pattern?  Isaiah in chapter 24 tells us specifically that the entire earth will be a desert waste at the end of this age?  Why?  Because of the heinous sins of humanity mounting higher and higher.. ..
the world languishes (dries up) and withers;
the highest people of the earth languish.
5The earth lies defiled
under its inhabitants;
for they have transgressed the laws,
violated the statutes,
broken the everlasting covenant.
6Therefore a curse devours the earth,
and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt;
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched,
and few men are left
Messiah, Jesus will come again and save the earth and regenerate it.  Even so, come Lord Jesus
