Do Not Be Deceived: There is no lasting happiness apart from Jesus.

I've learned that true and lasting happiness in only found in the arms of Messiah!

Chuck Missler teaches that Jesus Sermon on the Plain in Luke 6 that He emphasized 4 essentials for happiness:
- Faith in God
- Honesty with ourselves
- Love toward others
- Obedience toward God
The recent news headlines read that the Pope tells us 10 secrets of happiness. I'm so excited to read what the Pontiff has to say! So, I click on the article to see words of wisdom from the Pope, who is to represent Jesus on earth. What do I read? Nothing about God, nothing about Jesus. I'm appalled. They stand in stark contrast to Jesus teachings. I read lies and words of blaspheme supposedly telling us how to be happy in this sin sick world. And I know, that is far from the Truth. I feel sickened inside to read such shallow and godless advice! Why didn't he talk about a relationship with God through Jesus, His Son? I felt angered and appalled that our Lord of glory is dismissed; acceptance of false religion and living for this world is embraced in his happiness secrets. They are words of blasphemy and are a recipe for a life concerned only with this world, devoid of the Truth, and an eternity away from the presence of God.

You see, I know there is no happiness apart from God through Jesus Christ. Jesus gives eternal happiness is Paradise forever to His followers some great and glorious day when we leave this world and these mortal bodies to be with Him. Jesus is our source of joy. I know that the Bible is truth, so that is where we go to seek the keys to happiness. The ultimate truth and happiness is to behold and seek the face of God forever. The Holy Spirit of Jesus was poured out and given at Pentecost 2,000 years ago to guide us into all truth. The only thing that satisfies the soul is union with our Creator God through His Son Jesus. May we love Jesus even more. In His arms are 10,000 charms.

Jesus says, "You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free." He promises, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things (joy in this world) shall be added unto you." (Gospels)
