Kinsman Redeemer

When I read about Naomi and Ruth in their grief, enduring the heartbreak of loss of their husbands.  I realize they were left destitute with out hope in this world.  How many of us women are like this in today's world?  Millions.  Yet, there is One Who Never Would Leave us nor forsake us.  He is Jesus, God in the flesh.  The Man of infinite Mercy.  Come to Jesus in your need.  He will help you.

In the Book of Ruth Boaz represents our Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus.  Jesus sits upon His throne of grace and we come to Him in our times of need, and all the time really.  Naomi and Ruth represent a sad humanity, suffering death, tragedy and loss in this sinful world.  It was not like this in the beginning.  Specifically Naomi represents the Jewish People, who hold the Oracles of God.  Ruth, represents us non Jewish people who can come to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because "Salvation is of the Jews." Jesus told the outcast, Samaritan woman at the well.

As our Kinsman Redeemer Jesus job is to come to this world and to seek and to save that which was lost, you and I.

Jesus will ultimately fulfill the redemption of the land when He comes again the second  time and takes this world back for God.  We have been bought by His own blood, and He has made us kings and priests unto His God. (Revelation.)  So, He paid the price for our eternal souls, and will redeem the earth for us.  Jesus will do even better, some great day He will make us a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (Rev.)
