The Throne of David

pam-intheshadowofhiswings.blog

Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot—
yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root.
And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
He will delight in obeying the LORD.
He will not judge by appearance
nor make a decision based  on hearsay.  He will give justice to the poor  and make fair decisions for the exploited.  The earth will shake at the force of his word, and one breath from his mouth will destroy the wicked. He will wear righteousness like a belt  and truth like an undergarment.  (Is. 11:1-5NLT)

Thrones with Jesus

"To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne."   Promises Jesus in Revelation 3:21.

Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. (Rev. 4:4)

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? Do you not know that we will judge angels? (1Cor. 6:2a,3a)

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Heb. 4:16 NLT)

The Thrones of Heaven

Daniel, the Prophet, had a vision of the night.  He was taken in a dream into heaven at the time of the end.  This is what he saw:
“As I was watching all this,
“Thrones were set in place

and The Old On (Ancient of Days)  sat down.
His robes were white as snow,
his hair was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
    its wheels blazing.
A river of fire
    poured out of the throne.
Thousands upon thousands served him,
    tens of thousands attended him.
The courtroom was called to order,
and the books were opened." (Dan. 7:9,10 Msg)

I saw what looked like a
    Son of Man (Lord Jesus)
coming with the clouds of heaven,
and he was presented
to the Eternal God. (Ancient of Days).
 He was crowned king
    and given power and glory,
so that all people
of every nation and race
    would serve him.
He will rule forever,
and his kingdom is eternal,
never to be destroyed."                                                                     (Dan. 7:13:14 CEV)

King Nebuchaddrezar

#5 My Seven Years (Approx.)

The reason Nebuchadrezzar was given 7 years of madness is clear.  So that he, and the whole world, would know that it is God Most High, the God of Heaven, that rules on earth and is control of human events.  The great king of Babylon was  humbled.  I too went through an an awful 7 years that broke my heart.  For 7 long years the empowerment to read and study the Bible was lifted off me.  It was dreadful.  But, praise be to God, I came back to my senses and Jesus has restored to me the supernatural gifting and ability to read about Him again in His Word and to study with Dr. Missler.  I thank Jesus and praise Him and love Him even more. It's amazing, how my need for Jesus grows continually.  I met Jesus 20 years ago on my death bed with cancer.  He took all fear of death off me when I asked Him to get me to heaven and my family there someday too.  A short time later, in a miracle Jesus healed me.  It was like the book of Acts, Jesus supernatural presence.  His empowerment to testify of Him.  For around 14 years I walked in power and devoured Scripture and He showed me great and mighty things.  Then my husband got ill.  I still loved Jesus and prayed to Him.  But, I could not read Scripture nor hardly tell about Jesus anymore.  My husband passed away, I just was surviving in this world.  Like I was lost in this world.  I still went to church.  Then, after 7 long years I thought my cancer had returned.  I would be happy, I would be in heaven.  Jesus answered my prayers of 20 years ago and let me live long enough to raise my children.  But Jesus had other plans.  One day during worship at church with my eyes closed it was as if He came to me in a vision.  I saw myself worshiping at His feet.  He said, "come up here."  I stood face to face with Him.  Jesus said, "I still have more for you to do."  I knew immediately I was not dying.  He said, "Tell of My mercy." I knew He meant when He miraculously healed me of invasive cancer.  He said, "Tell of My grace." I knew immediately, like Nebuchadrezzar that anything and everything I had was only by grace.  Tell of my forgiveness.  My sins, so grievous to me, I knew were gone, forgiven.  His mercy, grace, forgiveness is unfathomable, power, forever, infinite.

Daniel Chapter 4

King Nebuchaddrezar told Daniel about his dream of the great tree being cut down by decree of the watchers.  Daniel instantly knew the meaning of the dream.  He felt very saddened and alarmed because Daniel understood that Nebuchaddrezar would stumble on sin and be cut down.  Daniel loved his king in my personal opinion.  He was entirely devoted to and trusted by Nebuchaddrezar for many years.  So, naturally, Daniel would be overcome with grief when he knew what would happen.  He told the king he wished the dream was about somebody else, but Nebuchaddrezar implored Daniel to tell him the interpretation.  Daniel told him tha he would be cut down for 7 full years, then restored.  Daniel begged him to turn over a new leaf in life and start being merciful and humble.  But, tragically, after a year Nebuchaddrezar became an even more proud, headstrong tyrant who thought he was somehow a god who had made himself and babylon his great city.  At that very moment he was cut down to the state of an animal until 7 long years passed and he came to his senses and praised the Most High God of Heaven.  God restored him when he humbled.  He reminds me of the prodigal son who Jesus told about who came to his senses, came back to his Father, and was restored.  God is good, and merciful, and forgiving through Jesus Christ His Son.

A Woman Touched Jesus Hem

When I think of Ruth coming to Boaz imploring mercy for her and her elderly mother in law I think of all the other desperate and needy women who come to Jesus.... to touch His feet, to receive mercy, love and power from the Body of God, the Man, Christ Jesus.
(alhale-amy.blogspot.com)

Jesus reached out and touched each of these women with His supernatural, dunamis, God given power.  The first woman was a dying woman.  She had been bleeding to death for 12 years.  I don't know how she could even crawl aster the life blood leaving her for so long. The Gospel of Mark tells us that the doctors took all of her money and left her even more mutilated than when they first got a hold of her.  (Hmm.. sounds like cancer therapy.)  (I had cancer for many years before I found the tumor.  I know what it feels like to have the vital energy of life leaving the body.  Jesus subsequently healed me after much torment and suffering.  He had mercy on my babies and husband.)

So, she was on her last legs, her life almost gone.  Then, a ray of hope hit her.  Jesus of Nazareth was coming to her town.  (In actuality to see her, even though she didn't know it.  That's how much Jesus loved her.  How much He loves you and I even today. )  Somehow, in her heart she knew, "If I only may touch even just the hem of his garment I will be healed.  He will heal me."  The crowds pressed around the Healer, no one could get near the Master.  She had no other choice, she could  barely crawl to him... she reached out with all her strength.. her finger lightly touching His hem.  She skimmed His power.  Dynamite!  God's healing power flowed out of Jesus and into this great woman's body.  Immediate healing, power, grace flowed into every nanoparticle of her being.  Immediately the disease was gone and new life infused into her mortal body.  What a miracle of God.

"But Jesus turned to see who had touched Him.  The woman knew what had happened to her.  She came shaking with fear and knelt down in front of Jesus.  Then she told Him the whole story.   Jesus said to the woman, "You are now well because of your faith (in Me Jesus).  May God give you peace!  You are healed and you will no longer be in pain." (Mark 5:32-34 CEV)   She was so embarressed she tried to crawl away.  But Jesus loved her so much.  He wanted to talk to her. He longed to tell her wonderful things and let her know He had given her a new life.  He yelled out that power had gone out from Him because someone touched Him.  He knew whoshe was yet, He was calling her to intimacy with her Healer.  She came to Him.  She told Him everything.  Jesus gave her a whole new life. A life to live for Him.  I wonder if she became one of women His followers and never left His side like so many others did?

Kinsman Redeemer

When I read about Naomi and Ruth in their grief, enduring the heartbreak of loss of their husbands.  I realize they were left destitute with out hope in this world.  How many of us women are like this in today's world?  Millions.  Yet, there is One Who Never Would Leave us nor forsake us.  He is Jesus, God in the flesh.  The Man of infinite Mercy.  Come to Jesus in your need.  He will help you.

In the Book of Ruth Boaz represents our Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus.  Jesus sits upon His throne of grace and we come to Him in our times of need, and all the time really.  Naomi and Ruth represent a sad humanity, suffering death, tragedy and loss in this sinful world.  It was not like this in the beginning.  Specifically Naomi represents the Jewish People, who hold the Oracles of God.  Ruth, represents us non Jewish people who can come to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because "Salvation is of the Jews." Jesus told the outcast, Samaritan woman at the well.

As our Kinsman Redeemer Jesus job is to come to this world and to seek and to save that which was lost, you and I.

Jesus will ultimately fulfill the redemption of the land when He comes again the second  time and takes this world back for God.  We have been bought by His own blood, and He has made us kings and priests unto His God. (Revelation.)  So, He paid the price for our eternal souls, and will redeem the earth for us.  Jesus will do even better, some great day He will make us a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (Rev.)
